Job Summary
As a Chemist in the Global Development & Application Technology Microbial Control group, you will play a pivotal role in advancing antimicrobial technologies for home care and industrial applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve leading or supporting R&D projects focused on disinfection, hygiene, and product preservation. You will act as a technical consultant for clients, providing expertise on the application of biocidal products in sectors such as water treatment, paper production, and oil and gas. Additionally, you will support regulatory registration processes by planning and executing studies related to antimicrobial efficacy, physicochemical characterization, and chemical analysis. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure customer needs and regulatory standards are met. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in natural sciences, preferably in Chemistry.
Experience
- Professional experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry, specifically in development, application technology, or registration.
- Experience in chemical analysis and/or microbiology is considered an advantage.
- Practical experience in project management is considered an advantage.
