Job Summary

BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING is seeking an experienced Manager for Electrical Engineering and Team Leadership in Energy Technology, based in Mannheim. This full-time, permanent role involves leading a team of electrical engineers, managing international engineering projects from conception to completion (including timelines, costs, and quality), and overseeing the design and integration of medium and low-voltage electrical systems and switchgear. You will also be responsible for process development, strategic goal implementation, team coaching, and reporting to management. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, significant experience in Electrical Engineering (preferably in power plant or switchgear construction), and proven leadership experience in managing teams and technical projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and medium/low-voltage systems is essential, along with a structured, solution-oriented approach and excellent communication skills. Good German and English proficiency and a willingness to travel occasionally are also required.
