Job Summary

Join BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING as a Broadband Technology Planning Engineer, focusing on the design and documentation of high-performance fiber optic and broadband networks. You will be instrumental in infrastructure projects for communication technology, contributing to the evolution of modern communication networks. Key responsibilities include network planning for backbone and regional distribution levels, developing coaxial and power feeding concepts, creating detailed plans (splicing, cable pulling, jointing), and maintaining network information in Smallworld-based NIS systems. You will also prepare material and service specifications and coordinate technical content with stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses a technical education (Technician, Engineer, or similar) or a degree in Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering with practical experience in broadband networks (FTTH, FTTx, HFC) and experience with Smallworld NIS systems. A structured, precise, and independent work style is essential. Required Skills
