Job Summary

This role involves managing the working capital of multiple business units, focusing on accounts receivable and work-in-progress (WIP) balances. You will analyze outstanding receivables, identify risks, and implement strategies to reduce capital tied up in these areas. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies, assessing the value of receivables, and preparing monthly working capital reports and management summaries in English. You will also monitor and comment on critical working capital KPIs, collaborate with various internal departments to improve billing and cash collection processes, and drive standardization and optimization of the WIP-to-Bill-to-Cash cycle. This position requires a strong understanding of financial processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively across different business units. It offers a hybrid or remote work setup within Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Brandenburg.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Working Capital Management, Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, Controlling, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Proven understanding of receivables management, billing/invoicing processes, WIP/Contract Asset logic, and balance sheet valuation.
  • Experience with aging analyses, value adjustments, provisions, impairment topics, and internal group reporting processes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
  • Experience coordinating and managing multiple business units simultaneously.
