This role involves operating, monitoring, maintaining, and repairing technical systems and equipment within laboratory and stable environments, specifically in a rotating shift work schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuous monitoring, evaluation, logging, and control of safety-relevant operational parameters using central building management and process control systems. A key aspect of the job is ensuring the uninterrupted supply security of biosafety-relevant technical systems and facilities. The position requires a strong technical background, particularly in electrical engineering or plant mechanics, and a meticulous, reliable approach to work. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering/Energy and Building Technology, Plant Mechanic for Heating/Climate/Sanitary, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing operational and MCR systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of current supply and electrical engineering systems in buildings and outdoor facilities is advantageous.

  • The position is full-time and temporary for 24 months. It requires deployment in a security area, necessitating a security clearance according to the Security Clearance Act (SÜG) and specific health protection measures.
