Job Summary

QIAGEN is seeking a Senior Specialist in Bioprocess Development - Operations to drive the continuous improvement and stable operation of complex biotechnological production processes within a GMP-regulated environment. This role involves taking technical responsibility for products and processes, acting as a liaison between production, quality, and development teams. You will spearhead enhancements across the entire process lifecycle, including technical support for existing processes, technology transfers, scale-up activities, and optimizing for quality, robustness, and cost. The ideal candidate will possess a scientific or technical degree, several years of experience in a GMP production or development setting, and strong knowledge of biotechnological manufacturing and process optimization. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with fluency in both German and English.
