Job Summary
This role involves working as an IT field service technician, resolving IT issues in urban, municipal, and public institutions. You will support colleagues on-site, acting as the primary contact for all workplace IT matters, including desktops, notebooks, peripherals, software settings, and user accounts. Responsibilities include handling support requests, performing simple hardware replacements like RAM or SSD, escalating complex repairs and warranty cases, and meticulously documenting all hardware and software work in a ticketing system. The position requires a completed IT education or at least 3 years of practical experience for career changers, familiarity with common hardware and software, and experience with license administration, user accounts, and permissions. A driver's license (Class 3/B) and fluent German (C1 level) are mandatory.
