Job Summary

The Federal Aviation Office (LBA) is seeking an IT System Administrator to join their Information and Communication Technology department in Braunschweig. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure that supports aviation safety in Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and maintaining central IT infrastructure like file servers, directory services, and backup systems, as well as administering Windows and Linux server systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with IT security guidelines, and providing first and second-level user support following ITIL principles. Required Skills
