Job Summary
Join BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING as a Chemical Engineer focused on chemical synthesis for diagnostic test precursors. You will play a key role in developing organic-chemical raw materials, optimizing manufacturing processes from lab to production scale, and ensuring efficiency and quality in pharmaceutical production. This involves hands-on experimentation, risk analysis, troubleshooting production deviations, and documenting/interpreting results. The position requires a Master's degree (ideally with a PhD) in Chemistry with a focus on organic synthesis, practical experience in synthesis chemistry and experimental design, and strong analytical and presentation skills. You will contribute to innovative process solutions for active pharmaceutical ingredients in a dynamic, supportive team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree ideally with subsequent PhD in Chemistry with a focus on organic synthesis and synthesis chemistry, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in synthesis chemistry
- Experience in experimental planning and execution of test series, ideally also in a production environment
- Experience in the development of organic-chemical raw materials for diagnostic tests
- Experience in risk analysis and documentation for safety and quality
- Experience in evaluating production deviations and troubleshooting
