Job Summary
As a Control Center Technician at the University Hospital Jena, you will be an integral part of the technical control center team, working in shifts and double occupancy. Your daily responsibilities will include monitoring and parametrizing building systems (HVAC, electrical, etc.) using modern building management systems, overseeing safety and hazard management systems, and processing fault reports into work orders via SAP-C11. You'll also conduct initial assessments of incidents, coordinate response measures, and support emergency services and on-call teams. This role requires a strong technical understanding, high engagement, and the ability to perform minor repairs. The position offers a dynamic and responsible role within a highly motivated team, with opportunities for professional development and a secure, well-compensated job.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training, preferably in building services engineering
Experience
- Professional experience in a technical control center or similar operational environment
- Experience with monitoring and parametrizing building systems (HLKS, MSR/GA)
- Experience with safety and hazard management systems
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work 3-shift system (24/7 functionality support); Physical and mental resilience; Fixed-term contract for 2 years (with aim for permanent employment)
