Job Summary
Join Siemens Healthineers as an Engineer for Magnet Integration and contribute to the future of healthcare by developing superconducting magnets for Magnetic Resonance Technology. You will define mechanical interfaces for magnet components, ensure seamless integration, and support manufacturing handovers. This role involves utilizing digital and physical tools for system design and testing, managing requirements, and participating in integration tests for new and existing magnets, particularly for mechanical and cryogenic components. You will also coordinate cross-functional collaboration with international teams in Germany, the UK, and China, acting as a central point of contact for magnet integration queries. This position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth into areas like System Engineering, with flexible mobile working options within Germany and abroad.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in mechatronic systems, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics, OR Bachelor's degree in one of these fields with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Master's degree in mechatronic systems, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with professional experience.
- Experience or knowledge in medical systems (e.g., through studies, internships, or professional experience).
- Ideally, initial knowledge in MRT system construction, magnet technology, and mechanical design principles.
- Experience in an international environment.
- Strong technical understanding.
- Ability to quickly learn technical reports, Matlab/ANSYS-based analyses, and specialized component design software.

Additional
- Mobile working within Germany up to 60% of working time is possible. Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days per year under specific conditions. Must be able to work in an international environment and communicate effectively across different locations.
