Job Summary
The Catholic Parish of St. Franziskus in Marl is seeking an Administrative Officer to manage and coordinate administrative processes between the central administration and decision-makers within the parish. This full-time, permanent role involves supporting the parish through on-site administrative actions and relieving the head pastor of administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include coordinating meetings, implementing decisions, and representing the parish to authorities. The ideal candidate will have a qualification for higher non-technical administrative service, an employee training course (Level II), a commercial apprenticeship, or a comparable qualification. Essential skills include reliability, independent work, teamwork, organizational talent, negotiation, communication, resilience, analytical thinking, and strong IT proficiency, particularly with MS Office. Knowledge of church or public service administration, especially in personnel, finance, construction, and property management, is desirable, as is an understanding of Christian values. This position offers compensation according to the KAVO (comparable to TVöD) up to pay group 9b, company pension, and opportunities for professional development.
Required Skills
Education
