Job Summary
Join Akkodis, a leader in Smart Industry, as a Linux Platform Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the conception, design, and implementation of secure, scalable, and maintainable Linux-based platform infrastructures. You will drive the evolution of the operating system architecture, create and maintain system concepts, and integrate product features and software components. This position involves developing and maintaining Linux-based OS images, evaluating new technologies, and collaborating closely with development and systems engineering teams. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in a technical field and deep knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, containerization (especially Kubernetes), and scripting (Python, Bash).
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable technical field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development and adaptation of Linux/Unix-based systems, preferably with a focus on containerization environments
- Experience with container technologies, particularly Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Experience with Linux and Unix systems
- Knowledge of software development with C/C++ is advantageous
- Knowledge of IT security in the Linux environment (e.g., SELinux, AppArmor, Hardening, secure system configurations) is advantageous
- Experience in vulnerability management (CVE analysis) and assessing software components for security risks is advantageous
- Experience with CI/CD and automated build/test pipelines, preferably in a GitLab environment, is advantageous
