Job Summary

The Technical University of Munich is seeking a part-time Scientific Assistant for Measurement Technology at the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Research Neutron Source (FRM II) in Garching. In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning radiation measurement technology, performing complex calculations according to DIN ISO 11929, developing and conducting experimental series with various measuring devices, and executing, evaluating, interpreting, and documenting measurements, particularly in controlled areas. You will also provide technical support for decommissioning sub-projects and assist with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) and possesses experience with radiation measurement technology and in radiation protection.
