The Technical University of Munich is seeking an IT Security Specialist to support the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Research Neutron Source (FRM II) in Garching. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing SEWD-IT security guidelines and managing the operational IT systems and networks that control world-class research infrastructure. Your daily tasks will include maintaining a diverse range of technologies, from standard PC systems to highly specialized control systems, while ensuring they meet strict regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal departments, supervisory authorities, and nuclear safety experts to develop IT security measures, perform system tailoring, and manage supplier security relationships.
