Job Summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Specialist Planner for Signaling and Control Systems (LST) to drive the modernization and digitalization of German rail traffic. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and optimizing planning documents across various project phases for systems like ESTW (DSTW), ETCS, train number reporting systems (ZN), train control (ZL), and level crossing safety systems (BÜSA). You will contribute to developing digital planning methods and improving planning quality, accompanying projects from digital surveying through planning, testing, project engineering, and supporting assembly and commissioning. This position offers diverse development opportunities, including project leadership in planning or realization, or roles as a certified inspector or authorized signatory. The role is based in Erlangen and is crucial for advancing the future of rail technology.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a completed further education as a Master/Technician in a similar technical field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as a PT1 Specialist Planner (m/f/d)
  • Several years of professional experience in Signaling and Control Systems in rail traffic
  • Professional experience in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field (if Meister/Techniker qualification)
