Job Summary

Join Schmitt Engineering as a Test Technician focused on the evaluation of defective X-ray tubes within the pump process chain. Your daily tasks will involve analyzing process data to determine failure causes, deciding on the next steps for each X-ray tube, and supporting simple measurement tasks like temperature readings. You will also review data in various database tools, analyze graphical process data, and perform electrical continuity and visual inspections of the X-ray tubes. The ideal candidate will have a completed technical apprenticeship (e.g., Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering) or comparable qualification, experience in plant operation, and knowledge of vacuum technology. Fluency in German is essential for this role.
