Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist for a public sector client in Munich, with the opportunity for remote work. In this role, you will handle the day-to-day tasks of receiving, analyzing, and resolving IT issues and service requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems. You will provide 1st and 2nd level support to users, both remotely and on-site, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations and mobile devices. Key responsibilities also include managing user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365, supporting Apple/macOS systems, and contributing to IT rollouts and documentation. The ideal candidate will have an IT education or be a motivated career changer with professional experience in IT support, strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, and familiarity with ITSM tools.

Required Skills

Education

Completed IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration, IT-Systemelektroniker) or motivated career changers

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT support, ideally in a Service Desk environment (1st and 2nd Level)
  • Experience in the administration of user accounts, groups, and access rights
  • Experience with workstation hardware and mobile devices
  • Experience supporting Apple/macOS systems is advantageous
  • Knowledge of ITSM and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Confluence, or Jira is desirable
