Join IDEXX, a global leader in veterinary diagnostics, as a Histology Laboratory Technician. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing tissue and cytology samples for pathologist review, from initial receipt through sectioning to the final slide. Your work directly contributes to accurate diagnoses and supports veterinarians in making critical treatment decisions for their patients. This position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment with regular collaboration with pathologists, contributing to the health and well-being of animals. You will be based in a state-of-the-art laboratory in Kornwestheim, near Stuttgart.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training in one of the following fields: MTA (Medical Technical Assistant), BTA (Biological Technical Assistant), CTA (Chemical Technical Assistant), TFA (Veterinary Assistant), Veterinarian, or Biologist
Experience
- Professional experience in a histology laboratory
- Experience with microtomy and staining machines
- Experience in preparing cytology samples
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday. Full-time position. Contract duration is limited.
