Job Summary
The City of Rödermark is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join their Civil Engineering Department. This role involves preparing and executing tenders for civil engineering and road/bridge construction and renovation projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing planning and construction services, managing project accounting, and maintaining public traffic areas and associated facilities. Key duties also include road opening management, updating the road register, and collaborating with utility companies and other authorities. The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering, strong German language skills (C2 level), and proficiency in EDV, CAD, and GIS. The ideal candidate is motivated, team-oriented, and capable of independent work, possessing a Class B driver's license.

Experience
- Professional experience in road or civil engineering is advantageous
- Qualification for supervising construction site safety in traffic areas is beneficial
- Extensive knowledge of road construction technical regulations
- Legal knowledge in VOB, HOAI, and relevant technical regulations and other tender and construction regulations
- Sound EDV, CAD, and GIS knowledge
- Structured and independent work style
- Confident communication skills within the team and with external parties
