Job Summary

The City of Rödermark is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Civil Engineering Department in a permanent, full-time capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of procurement processes for road and bridge construction projects. Your daily tasks will include coordinating and supervising planning and construction services, managing road excavation projects, and maintaining the city's road register. You will also oversee road lighting management and collaborate closely with utility companies and local authorities. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Civil Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering/Infrastructure.

Experience

  • Professional experience in road construction or civil engineering is preferred
  • Experience in the preparation and execution of construction tenders and award procedures
  • Proven experience in coordinating and monitoring planning and construction services
  • Experience in managing road registers and collaborating with utility companies
  • Practical knowledge of VOB, HOAI, and relevant technical construction regulations

  • Class B driver's license required; willingness to attend appointments outside of standard working hours; qualification for monitoring site safety in traffic areas is an advantage.
