Job Summary

The BFI Unternehmensgruppe, an established IT service provider since 1998, is seeking an IT Service Technician for their Cologne location. In this role, you will be responsible for installing new Windows operating systems on client devices, replacing old hardware with new PCs and notebooks, and setting up drivers and peripherals like printers and scanners. You will also handle and document support requests in a ticketing system, perform onsite support, troubleshoot issues in Windows environments, and assist with workplace moves and basic smartphone/tablet support. The ideal candidate has a completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable qualification, good knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office, and experience in PC installation, configuration, and 1st-level support.
