Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Gas Measurement Technician who will ensure the reliable operation of gas measurement systems, contributing directly to Germany's energy supply and the energy transition. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing measurement data, identifying deviations, and ensuring compliance with gas measurement specifications using modern IT systems like SAP IH-PM. Key responsibilities also include overseeing new gas measurement facility projects from planning to commissioning and independently managing minor conversion projects. The role involves interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including contributing to a state-recognized testing facility. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician (e.g., Measurement and Control Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering) or comparable Master qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in gas measurement (advantageous)
- Knowledge of measurement technology
- Experience with SAP (desirable)
Languages
Additional
- Must possess a Class B driving license (BE preferred). Willingness to be part of an on-call service after training. Flexibility and mobility within the operational area, including occasional overnight stays. Potential work locations: Röthenbach a.d. Pegnitz or Bamberg.
