This role is for a skilled technician to join OGE, a market-leading gas network operator and key driver of Germany's energy transition, focusing on maintaining critical energy infrastructure. The professional will perform inspection, maintenance, and repair work on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within storage and compressor stations. Key daily tasks include conducting regular inspections, documenting results, and executing repair measures or modifications on above-ground facilities like well sites, filters, separators, and drying systems, sometimes collaborating with third-party contractors. Candidates must have a completed technical apprenticeship in fields such as Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, or Mechatronics. The position requires strong teamwork, responsibility, self-reliance, and participation in an on-call rotation, necessitating residence within a 30-minute radius of the Gernsheim operating site.
