Job Summary
This role involves leading the IT Audit, Information Security, and Digitalization department within the City of Stuttgart's Audit Office, starting October 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and managing audit processes, conducting independent audits and consultations in IT, information security, and digitalization, and contributing to the annual financial statement audit. Key responsibilities also include ensuring the quality of audit reports and presenting findings to audited entities. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or comparable field; or a civil servant in the higher information technology service; or a highly qualified civil servant in the elevated service willing and able to complete the promotion course successfully.
Experience
- Several years of practical professional experience, preferably in accounting audit or internal audit
- Experience in public administration (desirable)
- Experience in personnel management (desirable)
