Job Summary

The Landeslabor Berlin-Brandenburg (LLBB) is seeking a Chemical Technical Assistant for a fixed-term, full-time position at their Berlin-Adlershof location. In this role, you will be responsible for sample preparation and processing, particularly for solids like soils and geological samples. Your duties will include separating, preparing, and performing initial qualitative analyses of pollen samples using wet chemical methods and light microscopy. You will also conduct quality assurance measures, analyze and provide measurement results using the laboratory's LIMS, operate and maintain measuring equipment, and assist with laboratory organization and the introduction of new methods. This position requires a state-certified Chemical Technical Assistant qualification or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of general chemical procedures, sample preparation, and instrumental analysis, along with experience in modern, PC-controlled analysis systems. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or equivalent qualifications (e.g., Laboratory Technician) with equivalent skills and experience.

  • Experience with modern, PC-controlled analysis systems
  • Experience with laboratory information systems (desirable)
  • Experience with quality management content, methods, and instruments
