Job Summary
This role involves managing daily financial operations within the City Treasury, focusing on processing electronic bank statements, pursuing outstanding debts, and initiating enforcement measures. You will also be responsible for reviewing personal accounts during property sales, contributing to financial closing processes, and acting as a deputy for the Treasury Manager, overseeing daily tasks and enforcement activities. The ideal candidate will have a background in public administration or a commercial apprenticeship, with a preference for experience in municipal accounting (Doppik). This is a full-time, fixed-term position for two years, offering a chance to handle significant financial responsibilities and gain experience in a public service environment.
Required Skills
Education
Public Administration Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r) or a completed three-year vocational training in a commercial field.
Experience
- Professional experience in finance or administration
- Experience in municipal accounting (Doppik) is desirable
- Experience as a financial accountant is desirable
- Experience in initiating enforcement measures
- Experience with bank statement processing
