Technische Universität Dresden Arbeitsstätte Dresden
Job Summary
Join a leading research institution, Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), as a Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in Chemical Glycobiology. You will contribute to cutting-edge research, developing novel 'precision tools' to investigate the role of sugar structures (glycans) in biological processes. This involves applying and advancing the 'bump-and-hole engineering' method, combining bioorthogonal 'click' chemistry with protein engineering to track glycosyltransferase activity in living cells. The role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a passion for glycobiology, aiming to develop new disease biomarkers and therapies. You will work in a dynamic, international team, contributing to publications, organizing events, and supporting students, while benefiting from flexible working conditions and professional development opportunities.
