Job Summary

Join an international HR team as a Payroll Specialist, reporting directly to the Senior Director of People & Organization. This role involves the independent execution of monthly payroll for approximately 400 employees across five German companies, handling both salaried and hourly workers. You will manage employee master data, digital personnel files, and serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees, managers, and authorities. Key responsibilities include processing working hours, benefits, and absences, generating reports and certificates, handling social security contributions, and collaborating with health insurance providers, social security institutions, and tax advisors. The position also supports broader HR administrative tasks such as contract management and onboarding. Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., Tax Assistant, Industrial Clerk), ideally with additional qualification in Human Resources.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in payroll accounting
  • Professional experience in payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees
  • Experience managing employee master data and digital personnel files
  • Experience collaborating with authorities, health insurance, and social security institutions
