Job Summary

Celonic, a leading Biologics CDMO, is seeking a part-time Process Engineer specializing in clean utilities for their GMP-regulated manufacturing facility in Heidelberg, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant operation and continuous optimization of essential clean utility systems such as WFI, compressed air, and technical gases. You will ensure adherence to GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements, manage technical changes and small investment projects, monitor system performance, and maintain technical documentation. This position offers flexible working hours (20-30 hours/week) and the opportunity to contribute to bringing life-saving medicines to market within a growing biotech sector and a multinational environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in the operation or planning of clean utility or pure media systems within a GMP-regulated environment
  • Professional experience in process engineering or a comparable field
  • Experience with qualification processes (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) is advantageous
