Job Summary

This role involves the technical administration and support of building management systems (Gebäudeleittechnik) across various public facilities including schools and sports complexes within the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district of Berlin. You will be responsible for commissioning new systems, troubleshooting and resolving faults in measurement, control, and regulation (MSR) technology, and ensuring economical and energy-efficient operation of building services. The position requires creating specifications for external companies, overseeing construction activities, and managing installations and modernizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in building services, experience with building automation, and proficiency in relevant software applications.

Required Skills

Education

State-certified technician in one of the following fields: Sanitary, Heating, Air Conditioning Technology; MSR Technology; Energy Plant Electronics; or Electrical Engineering. Equivalent qualifications and experience will also be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience in building management systems.
  • Professional experience in the commissioning and support of building automation systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault resolution for MSR technology.
  • Experience in creating performance specifications and managing construction activities.
  • Experience in guiding and controlling external companies for installations and modernizations.

  • Must possess a C1 level of German language proficiency. Foreign degree holders require an official assessment by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) and a certified translation. Possession of a current official performance evaluation or qualified certificate is required.
