Job Summary
Siemens Mobility is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the development and execution of installation concepts for railway electrification projects. You will be responsible for managing the entire process from tender and award to construction supervision and acceptance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves supporting sales with country strategies, developing optimized installation and testing concepts, and qualifying installation partners. You will influence construction processes, improve technical documentation, and manage interfaces between various stakeholders. The position offers the opportunity to drive the establishment of a global expert network and promote the adoption of new methods within Siemens Mobility, contributing to sustainable transportation solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Diploma or Master) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable engineering discipline with electrical engineering content.
Experience
- Extensive professional experience in detailed planning and awarding of installation services.
- Proven experience in construction and/or technical project management.
- Experience in procurement and qualification of assembly subcontractors.
- Experience in the tendering process for installation services.
- In-depth knowledge of overhead line systems.
- Experience in creating project schedules and resource plans.
- Experience in creating installation and test procedures and plans.

Additional
- Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 20%).
