Job Summary
This role involves ensuring secure connectivity for client medical systems to remote service platforms. You will plan, test, and implement customized IT solutions and communication concepts, providing consulting, training, and 24/7 remote support to internal and external clients, including on-call duties. Responsibilities include analyzing support processes, optimizing productivity, and continuously improving service sub-processes. You'll also configure and maintain network components, firewalls, and VPN systems, perform troubleshooting, and analyze network protocols.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in network and firewall administration
- Experience with remote customer support (Smart Remote Services, SRS)
- Experience with Windows and Linux (Debian) system administration
- Experience with network and VPN technologies
- Experience with analysis tools like Wireshark
Languages
Additional
- On-call duty and shift work required. Possibility of mobile working. CCNA/CCNP or LPI certification is ideal.
