Job Summary

As a Software Integrator, you will be responsible for installing and configuring information and communication equipment in vehicles based on provided specifications and checklists. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing and resolving issues within communication and IT systems on-site, conducting functional tests, and creating detailed test protocols. You will also be crucial in documenting all work performed and contributing to team knowledge sharing. This role requires you to be a forward-thinking individual with a strong technical background and a willingness to travel extensively to various Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) locations across Germany, working with military clients. The position offers a future-oriented workplace with a permanent contract and opportunities for professional development.

Required Skills

Education

Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Aviation Technology Systems, Mechatronics Technician, IT System Electronics Technician, or a comparable electro-technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the integration, testing, and acceptance of technical systems is ideal
  • Experience with the configuration and use of radio equipment (HF, VHF, UHF), mobile/TETRA networks, GPS or satellite phones is required or a strong willingness to learn
  • Good IT fundamental knowledge is required
  • Willingness to travel regularly and extensively within Germany is required
  • Experience working in military customer environments is required

Additional

  • Class B driver's license required; Class CE driver's license is advantageous.
  • 100% willingness to travel to changing Bundeswehr deployment locations.
  • Must be able to work on-site at changing Bundeswehr locations in Germany, with travel on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Security clearance may be required due to the nature of working with military clients.
