Job Summary

As a Simulation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the energy technology sector, specifically focusing on FACTS and HVDC systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analyzing and interpreting existing MATLAB/Simulink models, implementing control and protection functions, and validating simulation results by bridging models between Simulink and PSCAD. You will work closely with Engineering, R&D, and System Studies teams to evaluate and advance simulation-based models. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in electrical or energy engineering who excels at structured problem-solving and technical documentation. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Control Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in modeling with MATLAB/Simulink
  • Sound practical experience with PSCAD
  • Experience in the field of dynamic network and system simulations
  • Strong understanding of FACTS and/or HVDC systems, including power electronics and control concepts
