Job Summary

As a Test Engineer for Redox Flow Batteries, you will play a pivotal role in the operation and management of an electrochemical laboratory. Your day-to-day responsibilities include conditioning and characterizing redox-active electrolytes, such as vanadium and organic systems, and constructing battery cells at the laboratory scale. You will be responsible for setting up and commissioning test benches, conducting independent electrochemical measurement series (e.g., EIS), and performing efficiency analyses. A key part of your role involves ensuring data integrity through structured documentation and optimizing experimental processes by implementing standardized workflows. You will also oversee laboratory equipment maintenance, manage material procurement, and provide technical guidance to team members and students. This position is ideal for someone with an electrochemical background who thrives in a hands-on, innovative laboratory environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Technician, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or related fields (e.g., Process Engineering).

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in chemical laboratories
  • Experience with electrochemical activities is highly preferred
  • Experience with battery technologies, particularly redox flow systems, is an advantage
