Job Summary

Join the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) at their training center in Brandenburg/Havel as an IT Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous development and administration of the campus IT infrastructure, ensuring stable operations for both office and field environments. A core aspect of your day-to-day work involves supporting digital education, managing classroom technology, and providing hands-on assistance to instructors. You will also participate in pilot projects, maintain system documentation, and conduct training sessions for staff. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training (minimum 3 years) in an IT-related field or equivalent vocational qualification.

Experience

  • Completed vocational training (minimum 3 years) in an IT-related field, such as IT Systems Integration
  • Alternatively, a completed 3-year vocational training program combined with at least 3 years of professional experience in IT

Languages

Additional

  • Security clearance according to the Security Clearance Act (SÜG) required. Willingness to work outside standard hours, participate in emergency management (LuK), and wear official service clothing when required. Occasional travel is expected. Must provide proof of immunity to measles (if born after 31.12.1970). Must be willing to work on-site in Brandenburg/Havel.
