Job Summary
The Head of Central Services will lead a team of four, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of various administrative tasks for the Foreign Armed Forces Payroll Office in Kaiserslautern. Key responsibilities include managing material procurement, organizing office services like mailroom and archiving, ensuring workplace setup, and administering framework agreements. The role also involves handling tenders and awards according to UVgO, acting as the representative for occupational safety and health management, and contributing to project work in areas such as personnel development and digitalization. Required Skills
Education
Completed civil service examination for the second entry-level career path in administration and finance (formerly 'mittlerer Dienst') in municipal, state, or federal administration, or a successfully completed Angestelltenlehrgang I (Employee Training Course I).
Experience
- Leadership and responsibility for a team of 4 employees
- Professional experience in planning, monitoring, and coordinating tasks
- Experience in material procurement and management
- Experience in organizing office services (mailroom, reception, archive, cleaning, printing)
- Experience in workplace equipment provision
- Experience in managing framework agreements
- Experience with tenders and awards according to UVgO
- Experience as an occupational safety and health management representative
- Experience in creating and managing project work (e.g., personnel and structural development, digitalization, emergency management plans)
- Experience in general IT applications and MS Office products
