Job Summary

As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining complex IT system environments for our client in Nuremberg. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing technical incidents and changes via a ticketing system, performing remote troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality communication with users. You will also be responsible for system administration, software maintenance, patch management, and documenting all processes to meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a background in IT systems and a strong customer-service orientation. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science or completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, System Electronics Technician, or Technical Assistant for Informatics). ITIL v3 Foundation certification is considered a plus.

Experience

  • Experience working with ticketing systems
  • Foundational knowledge of heterogeneous IT infrastructures, server environments, and operating systems
