Job Summary

As a System Analysis Engineer at TenneT, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and integrity of the power grid. Your day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing system requirements and capabilities, conducting dynamic EMT and RMS simulations, and performing interaction studies to mitigate operational risks. You will translate these technical findings into asset-specific requirements for grid connection rules and evaluate measurement data to develop improvement measures. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys technical problem-solving and wants to contribute to the energy transition. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in network analysis, grid operation, or grid planning
  • Experience in analyzing the dynamic behavior of complex power systems with high shares of power electronics
  • Extensive practical experience with EMT and RMS simulation tools

  • Regular travel required (1-2 days per month). Work location in Bayreuth or Lehrte (near Hanover).
