Job Summary

The Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join the Institute of Technical Chemistry for a fixed-term research project. In this role, you will perform chemical-physical characterization of water samples and manage the production and testing of standardized concrete prisms. A key aspect of your day-to-day work involves planning, setting up, and operating a flow test rig at a pilot-plant scale, as well as conducting field tests on materials exposed to real-world conditions. You will be responsible for the preliminary analysis and documentation of research findings. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in chemical or physical laboratory assistance and is eager to contribute to the development of sustainable building materials. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Physical-Technical Assistant, Chemical-Technical Assistant, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the setup and operation of laboratory and pilot-plant facilities
  • Professional experience in the standardized determination of building physics properties

Additional
