Job Summary

As the Service Center Manager for Electrical and Energy Engineering, you will oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of electrical infrastructure, including high, medium, and low voltage systems across all university facilities. Your daily responsibilities involve coordinating maintenance schedules, managing service providers, ensuring strict adherence to electrical safety regulations as the designated responsible electrical expert (VEFK), and providing technical consultation for new construction and renovation projects. You will also lead and mentor a team, manage staff development, and organize on-call services for incident response. This role is unique as it places you at the heart of a major research institution, ensuring that critical infrastructure supports world-class scientific research. You will need a strong background in electrical engineering, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex operational workflows while maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Supply Engineering (Ingenieur).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure systems.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and personnel.
  • Experience in coordinating external service providers and managing maintenance contracts.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
