Job Summary
As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing internal security in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Your daily tasks will involve planning antenna technology for fixed radio systems to connect police buildings to the Digital Radio BOS network, coordinating the implementation with various stakeholders, and troubleshooting communication systems in control centers. You will also analyze disruptions, conduct on-site measurements, and develop solutions to restore services for all security organizations. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a comparable field; OR successfully completed vocational training with a certified technician/master qualification; OR relevant vocational training in specified areas.
Experience
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a comparable field (with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience with a vocational training and certified technician/master qualification in specified fields
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in information and communication technology with a relevant vocational training
- Professional experience in the infrastructural development of mobile and digital radio sites (desirable)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü2 Sabotage Protection), requiring residency in Germany or an EU member state for at least five years.
