The Procurement Specialist for IT and Communication Services will play a crucial role in the City of Regensburg's procurement office. In this role, you will manage national and EU-wide procurement procedures for hardware, software, and IT services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as UVgO and VgV. Your day-to-day responsibilities include advising municipal departments on performance specifications and contract design, particularly regarding EVB-IT contracts, as well as managing ongoing contracts. You will also contribute to the central procurement team, assisting with office equipment planning and workstation setups. Required Skills

Education

Qualification for the third qualification level of the administrative and financial career path (non-technical administrative service), or successful completion of the Administrative Course II (AL II/BL II), or First State Examination in Law (Diplom-Jurist), or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Public Law, or a university degree in Administrative Sciences.

Experience

  • Professional experience in procurement processes is considered an advantage
  • Experience in public administration or legal services related to procurement
  • Experience in managing hardware, software, and IT service contracts
