Job Summary

As an IT Administrator for Microsoft 365, you will join the City of Regensburg's Department of Information and Communication Technology to manage and evolve the central M365 environment for municipal offices and schools. Your day-to-day responsibilities include tenant configuration, Identity and Access Management (IAM) via Azure Active Directory/EntraID, and ensuring security through Conditional Access settings. You will also oversee system monitoring, troubleshooting, and the administration of Microsoft Active Directory and Password Self-Service systems. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, or Technical Informatics; alternatively, a completed vocational IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) with relevant work experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the provision of IT services within a large organization, public authority, or similar institution
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in IT or Cloud environments if applying with a vocational qualification
  • Experience in planning, administration, and documentation of central Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience in monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting within M365 and Azure ecosystems
