Job Summary

This role involves supporting the S2 cell culture laboratory and managing the diagnostic laboratory, which conducts blood analyses for both small and large animals. Following an initial training period, the position will expand to include performing and analyzing preclinical imaging studies (CT, ultrasound, optical imaging), interpreting image data, and evaluating results using advanced imaging software. A key aspect of the role is also to train and support project groups in the application of these devices and techniques. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Physics, or a related field

Experience

  • Experience with quality management systems
  • Experience in/willingness to handle laboratory animals (mice/rats)
  • Professional experience in preclinical imaging (ideal)

Languages

German (Fluent)English (Intermediate)

Additional

  • Basic course in laboratory animal science (EU function A, former FELASA B) is ideal.
