Job Summary

This role as a Biotechnology Engineer, situated within the Chair of Physiology and Pathophysiology, involves executing a wide range of natural science experiments focusing on molecular biology, biochemistry, and physiological directions. Day-to-day tasks include applying specialized techniques such as lipoprotein isolation and analysis, primary endothelial cell culturing, SDS Page, Western Blot, RNA isolation, and various PCR methods. A key component of the position is introducing and mentoring doctoral candidates in laboratory techniques and assisting with their research projects, alongside conducting required lab analyses, managing data acquisition, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Candidates must possess a minimum Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences or Biotechnology, coupled with professional laboratory experience and familiarity with the care and handling of experimental animals. Strong IT proficiency, including MS Office and Graph Prism, and B2 level English are required.
