Job Summary
As a Data Strategist & Data Architect for the Magnetic Resonance (MR) division at Siemens Healthineers, you will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of data management for our Magnetom scanner fleet. You will oversee the entire data lifecycle—from generation at the scanner to cloud storage and analytical processing—to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize fleet performance. Your daily responsibilities include monitoring scanner data, supporting customer service and product lifecycle management, and designing architectures for machine data transmission and system diagnostics. You will play a pivotal role in shaping future maintenance concepts and technology innovations. This position offers a dynamic, flexible work environment with mobile working options (up to 60% within Germany) and the opportunity to work in a global, interdisciplinary team dedicated to advancing healthcare technology. We are looking for a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in software architecture and data management to help us turn machine data into actionable insights.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics with a focus on data analysis, or a similar field.
Experience
- Long-term professional experience in the strategic handling of large data volumes, such as in a Software Architect or Data Strategist role.
- Proven expertise in project management within software development and/or software architecture.
- Practical experience with modern technologies including .NET, C#, and C++.
- In-depth knowledge of implementing multiple software architecture migration projects in complex, large-scale systems.
- Experience working within a regulated industry, preferably healthcare.

- Willingness to work in a hybrid model (up to 60% mobile work within Germany); optional mobile work from abroad for up to 30 days per year under specific conditions; role available as full-time or part-time (min. 28h/week); certifications such as SSWA, SWA, Microsoft Curriculum, or Data Science training are considered an advantage.
