Job Summary

As an Economist at the Deutsche Bundesbank, you will play a key role in modernizing and automating the institution's financial market model infrastructure. Your primary responsibility involves developing automated workflows to update empirical model results, managing versioned code via Git, and ensuring data is stored in a centralized platform for high-quality visualizations. You will analyze international capital market developments, prepare insightful reports for internal decision-making, and contribute to the Bundesbank's monthly financial market publications. This role requires a strong background in economics, proficiency in MATLAB and SQL, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, professional insights. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in Economics or a related field with a grade point average of 2.0 or better.

Experience

  • Professional experience in econometric modeling and time series analysis
  • Professional experience in implementing empirical capital market analyses
  • Professional experience in the automation of model runs and data visualization
