Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer at the BLB NRW, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the electrical infrastructure for diverse federal properties in the Cologne/Bonn region. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve steering external planning and engineering firms, managing multi-disciplinary project teams, and ensuring quality control across projects ranging from administrative buildings to specialized facilities like NATO airfields. You will handle contract management, participate in technical planning according to HOAI standards, and contribute to sustainability initiatives aimed at achieving a climate-neutral portfolio by 2045. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, or a comparable engineering discipline; OR State-certified Technician/Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering or building services.
- For applicants with a technician or master craftsman qualification: Minimum 6 years of relevant engineering-level professional experience.
- Experience in project management, leadership, and project steering is highly desirable.
